Download and Launch Knowledge Finder® Expert Software

The Knowledge Finder Expert client program offers you searching features and power, beyond the features available through the Knowledge Finder Browser search interface. Features available in the Expert client include:

• Broader concept mapping features, including individual term selection, and incorporation of extended synonyms in searches.
• Control of fuzzy logic search sensitivity (precision vs. recall).
• Selection of specific publication years/months for searching.
• Tailoring of print and export formats.
• Comprehensive Thesaurus browsing and term selection.
• "Fielded" searching by Publication Type, Publication Language, and Age/Subject Indexing tags.
• Save and re-use search strategies.

To use the Expert client, you must first download and install the Knowledge Finder software (available for Windows and Macintosh). Click here to go to the software download page.

When you've completed the download and installed the software, return to this page, and click on the icon below to launch the Knowledge Finder Expert client software. Clicking on this link also automatically connects and authenticates you (as a user of your Library) to the Knowledge Host search server.
